KERATOSIS PILARIS

  • What is it?

    Keratosis pilaris (KP) is a common skin condition, which appears as tiny bumps on the skin. It is a harmless skin condition, but it can be treated if the skin becomes itchy or is bothersome.

  • What to expect?

    Keratosis pilaris commonly appears on the back of the upper arms and the front of the thighs. It is sometimes mistaken for small pimples or goosebumps.

  • What can we do?

    Prescription lotions/creams or over the counter treatments can be used to reduce the bumps and help smooth out the skin experiencing keratosis pilaris.
